Fallen Angels and much more

Please tell us the name of your novel and the author.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

What chapter/page are you on?

Chapter 7 page 91

Where are your characters right now?

Nora has met Patch, a dark and handsome mysterious stranger who seems to know about her family's past.

What has been your favorite part this week/so far?

When Nora runs into Patch at the Pool Hall and some strange things start to happen.

What is happening with them?

Nora keeps arguing with Patch but at the same time she seems attracted to him and doesn't know why.

Have there been any quotes that you have loved from the story this week/ so far?

Not yet.

If you are reading a book along with me, tell me what you think of the story so far? Any questions for me??

Can you explain to me about what a fallen angel is in this story?

Who do you think is a strong character? Weak? Admirable? Pitiable? (you can pick one of these)

Nora seems strong, although she doesn't seem to think she is.

Do they make you feel any other emotions we haven’t named for them?

Her best friend Vee is just irritating so far.

Where do you think your main character(s) will go from here?

I think Nora might discover some more clues about her father's death later on in the story.

What do they need to do to get there?

Nora might need to work with Patch to find the clues.

What do you think will happen at the end of story now that you have gotten this far?

I think Nora might find out the truth about her family and her father's past.

Book Club Reading Blog

We are reading different novels in our book club. Each of you has been able to select a book of your choice from our library available, all of which I have previously read. Many of the books have also been recommended by fellow students to the group for reading. There is no set reading pace, but each week we meet for one lunch (Fridays) and discuss our books with each other. This blog is also to allow you to post in writing your experiences so far with your individual books. I post my blog on the book I am reading weekly (Wednesdays), and then you each add your own blog entries on Thursday of each week. We can all access this blog from home or on the school network (with my own editing access of the blogs before they are published only if needed). Books are a variety of genres, both non-fiction and fiction. Some books are adult fiction/non-fiction as well, and have been previously read by me.

***Please remember some other students may be waiting to read your book, so try to be careful not to give away any spoilers if possible...***

-Remember that your audience may not be reading the same book, so try to remember they might need you to explain a bit to help them understand what your are writing about

The blog code is always: Would what you write be appropriate to say in school?

Please post your answers to these topics
